Tips
Preparation

Cooking
- • Watch the water level under the basket. It should bubble but not reach the corn.
- • Fresh corn is often done closer to 6 minutes. Older cobs may need closer to 10.
Serving
- • Butter while the corn is hot so the dill butter melts into the kernels.
Variations
Flavor
- A touch of lemon juice in the butter adds freshness.
- A little chili or cayenne in the dill butter adds heat.
Method
- If you have no steamer basket, use a colander over the pot with a lid. The water should still stay below the corn.
- The corn is steamed over water. It should not be boiled submerged.
Toppings
- Extra chopped dill on top just before serving.
