Dough
- 0.9 oz yeast
- about 0.8 cup lukewarm milk
- 2 stk ripe bananas
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 1.8 oz butter, melted
- 7.1 oz wholemeal wheat flour
- 8.8 oz wheat flour
Filling
- 12 tsp dark chocolate or peanut butter

Dissolve the yeast
- Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk.

Add banana and remaining ingredients
- Mash the bananas and stir in the honey, salt and melted butter.
- Add the wholemeal and wheat flour a little at a time.

Knead the dough
- Knead until the dough is soft and pliable.

Let the dough rise
- Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.

Divide the dough
- Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces.

Add the filling
- Flatten each piece and place a teaspoon of filling in the centre.
- Wrap the dough around the filling and shape into a bun.

Bake in the oven
- Place the buns on a baking tray lined with parchment.
- Bake at 200°C for about 18–20 minutes, until golden.
