Ingredients

  • 500 g Swiss chard (leaves and stems)
  • 400 g potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 3 fed garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 spsk olive oil
  • 1 tsk salt

Instructions

    Boil potatoes

    1. Boil the potato cubes in salted water for about 12–15 minutes until tender.
  2. 2

    Blanch chard

    1. Add the chard leaves for the last 3–4 minutes of cooking.
    2. Drain everything well.
  3. 3

    Toss in garlic oil

    1. Heat the olive oil and fry the garlic until golden.
    2. Toss potatoes and chard in the oil. Season with salt.

Tips

Preparation

  • Use leaf beet as a substitute if Swiss chard is unavailable.

Cooking

  • Separate the stems and boil them a couple of minutes before the leaves.
