- 3 dl Long-grain rice, uncooked
- 6 dl Water or broth
Chicken
- 800 g Boneless chicken thighs or breast
- 1 tsk Salt
- 1 knsp Black pepper
Creamy paprika base
- 1 stk Onion, finely chopped
- 2 fed Garlic
- 2 spsk Tomato paste
- 2 tsk Paprika, preferably smoked
- 2 dl Heavy cream

Prepare the rice
- Rinse the rice briefly.
- Place it in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour over the water or broth.

Prepare the chicken
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Place it on top of the rice.

Add the paprika base
- Spread onion, garlic, tomato paste and paprika over the chicken.

Cook
- Set the slow cooker to LOW for 4 hours.
- Avoid lifting the lid during cooking.

Make the dish creamy
- Lift out the chicken and shred it lightly.
- Stir the cream into the rice.
- Return the chicken to the dish and stir everything together.
- Season with extra salt or paprika to taste.
