  • 2 stk red onions
  • 10.6 oz sausages (e.g. bratwurst or medister)
  • 0.9 oz butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 kvist fresh thyme
  • 1 håndfuld fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

    Prepare the ingredients

    1. Scrub the potatoes and cut them in halves or quarters. Slice the sausages and cut the onions into thin wedges.

    Fry the potatoes

    1. Heat butter and oil in a large pan. Fry the potatoes over medium heat for 15–20 minutes until golden and crisp. Turn them regularly.

    Add onion and sausages

    1. When the potatoes are nearly done, add onion and sausages. Continue frying for 5–7 minutes until the onions are caramelised and the sausages golden.

    Season and serve

    1. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and chopped herbs. Serve straight from the pan – preferably with a sprinkle of fresh thyme on top.
