Drink Pairings
- • Coffee: Coffee.
Side Pairings
- • Fresh orange.
Storage
Fresh
- • Duration: 4 days

Tips
Preparation
- • The cream cheese should be soft so the swirl stays even.
Cooking
- • Brownies keep baking a little in the pan. The center may look slightly wet when you take them out.
Serving
- • Wait to cut until the bake is fully cold. The cream cheese layer cuts more neatly that way.
Variations
Flavor
- A few drops of orange juice in the cream cheese mix adds more citrus without thinning it.
Method
- Dip the knife in hot water between cuts if you want clean edges.
Toppings
- A light dusting of icing sugar on the cut pieces gives a calm contrast to the dark base.
