Home version inspired by Native Hawaiian kālua pig from the imu (underground oven). Uses oven/slow cooker and a little smoke aroma — adapted, not traditional imu cooking.

- 1 tsp Liquid smoke (optional, sparingly)

- Cook covered at 150°C / 300°F for 3.5–4 hours or in a slow cooker until falling apart. Shred.
