    • 1 tsp Vanilla sugar

    • 2 tbsp Raspberries (mashed or purée)
    • 1 tsp Lemon juice

    Mix the dough

    1. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    2. Stir in the egg and vanilla sugar.
    3. Add flour and salt, and bring the dough together without over-kneading.

    Chill the dough

    1. Wrap the dough and chill for 30 minutes so it is easy to roll out.

    Cut out the cookies

    1. Roll the dough out to about 3–4 mm thickness on a lightly floured surface.
    2. Cut out hearts and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

    Baking

    1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
    2. Bake the cookies for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden at the edges.
    3. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
