    • about 1.1 cup Milk, lukewarm
    • 1 stk Potato, boiled and mashed (optional)
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • cup Oil for deep-frying

    • 3 fed Garlic cloves, crushed
    • about 0.8 cup Sour cream
    • 3.5 oz Cheese, grated (trappista or Emmental)

    1. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk. Mix with flour, salt and optional mashed potato. Knead soft. Rise 45–60 min.

    1. Divide into 6 balls. Stretch each into a flat disc with a thinner centre.

    Deep-fry in hot oil

    1. Deep-fry in hot oil (about 180 °C) until golden and blistered, about 2 min per side.

    1. Rub with garlic, top with sour cream and cheese. Serve immediately.
