- about 1.1 cup Milk, lukewarm
- 1 stk Potato, boiled and mashed (optional)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 4¼ cup Oil for deep-frying

- 3 fed Garlic cloves, crushed
- about 0.8 cup Sour cream
- 3.5 oz Cheese, grated (trappista or Emmental)

- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk. Mix with flour, salt and optional mashed potato. Knead soft. Rise 45–60 min.

- Divide into 6 balls. Stretch each into a flat disc with a thinner centre.

Deep-fry in hot oil
- Deep-fry in hot oil (about 180 °C) until golden and blistered, about 2 min per side.

Rub with garlic
- Rub with garlic, top with sour cream and cheese. Serve immediately.
