  • Salmon

    • 4 stk salmon fillets (approx. 150 g each)
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Glaze

    • 3 tbsp maple syrup
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
    • 1 fed garlic clove, pressed
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice

    Make the glaze

    1. Combine maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic and lemon juice in a bowl.

    Sear the salmon

    1. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a pan over high heat. Sear salmon skin-side down for 3 minutes until crispy.

    Glaze and finish

    1. Flip the salmon. Pour the glaze over and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes on medium heat until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze has reduced.
    2. Spoon the glaze over the salmon a couple of times while cooking to build a beautiful, glossy layer.
