A pizza-inspired tomato sauce with bacon, pepperoni and melted cheese. Cook the pasta separately and serve it under the hot, cheesy sauce—like liquid pizza in a bowl.

- 150 g Diced bacon
- 100 g Pepperoni strips
- 1 stk Onion
- 2 fed Garlic
- 800 g Canned crushed tomatoes
- 2 spsk Tomato paste
- 2 tsk Dried oregano
- 2 tsk Paprika
- 1 knsp Black pepper
- 1 tsk Salt
- 1 tsk Sugar
Cheese to finish
- 200 g Cheddar
- 200 g Mozzarella

Prepare the ingredients
- Finely chop the onion and press the garlic.
- Cut the pepperoni into strips if needed.

Fry the bacon (optional)
- Quickly fry the bacon in a skillet if you want more browned flavor.

Start the sauce
- Add the bacon, pepperoni, onion and garlic to the slow cooker.
- Add the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste.
- Stir in the oregano, paprika, salt, pepper and sugar.
- Mix everything well.

- Set the slow cooker to LOW and let the sauce simmer for 4–5 hours.

Add the cheese
- Stir the cheddar into the sauce 20 minutes before serving.
- Lay the mozzarella on top and replace the lid.
- Let the cheese melt.

Cook the pasta
- Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.
- Drain it.

Serve
- Divide the pasta between bowls.
- Spoon the hot, cheesy sauce over it.
