- 1 stk Vanilla pod
- 1.8 oz Sugar
- about 1.1 cup Whipping cream
- 2.6 oz Blanched, chopped almonds
- 1 stk Whole almond
- 14.1 oz Cherry sauce
Instructions

Cook the rice pudding
- Bring the milk to a boil, add rice and vanilla seeds, and cook the pudding until tender with the lid on.
- Stir regularly, especially towards the end, so the pudding does not burn. Remove the vanilla pod after cooking.

Cool the pudding
- Pour the pudding into a bowl and let it cool completely in the fridge.
- The pudding must be fridge-cold before folding in the cream – otherwise the dessert will split.

Whip the cream
- Whip the cream to soft peaks.
- Stop when the cream forms soft peaks – over-whipped cream gives a heavy texture.
