    • about 1.1 cup Lukewarm milk
    • 1 tbsp Sugar
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 1 stk Egg
    • 1.8 oz Butter, melted
    • 15.9 oz Plain flour

  • Egg wash

Instructions

    Dissolve the yeast

    1. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk.
    2. Add sugar, salt, egg and melted butter.

    Knead the dough

    1. Add the flour a little at a time and knead until the dough is smooth and leaves the bowl.

    Leave the dough to rise

    1. Cover the dough and leave to rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.

    Roll and cut

    1. Roll the dough out into a large circle and cut into 12 triangles.

    Roll around the sausages

    1. Place a chicken sausage on the wide end and roll the dough around it.
    2. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

    Brush and bake

    1. Brush with beaten egg.
    2. Bake at 200°C for about 12–15 minutes until golden.
