    • 2 tsk Salt
    • 1 tsk Black pepper
    • 1 spsk Oil or butter for searing
  • Liquid & flavor

    • 3 dl Beef broth
    • 2 stk Onions, cut into wedges
    • 2 fed Lightly crushed garlic
    • 2 stk Bay leaves

    Prepare and sear the meat

    1. Pat the brisket dry and season it with salt and pepper.
    2. Sear the meat well on all sides in a hot skillet.

    Set up the slow cooker

    1. Place the onions, garlic and bay leaves in the bottom.
    2. Pour in the broth.
    3. Place the seared brisket on top.

    1. Cook on LOW for about 9–10 hours, until the meat is very tender.
