- 1400 g Beef brisket
- 2 tsk Salt
- 1 tsk Black pepper
- 1 spsk Oil or butter for searing
Liquid & flavor
- 3 dl Beef broth
- 2 stk Onions, cut into wedges
- 2 fed Lightly crushed garlic
- 2 stk Bay leaves

Prepare and sear the meat
- Pat the brisket dry and season it with salt and pepper.
- Sear the meat well on all sides in a hot skillet.

Set up the slow cooker
- Place the onions, garlic and bay leaves in the bottom.
- Pour in the broth.
- Place the seared brisket on top.

Slow cook
- Cook on LOW for about 9–10 hours, until the meat is very tender.

Rest and slice
- Remove the meat and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.
- Slice against the grain or pull the meat apart.
