- 1200 g bone-in chicken thighs
- 1 tsk salt
- 1 tsk black pepper
Vegetables
- 1 stk onion wedges
- 1 stk red bell pepper strips
- 1 stk green bell pepper strips
- 250 g mushrooms
- 3 fed garlic
Sauce
- 400 g canned chopped tomatoes
- 1 spsk tomato paste
- 2 dl chicken stock
- 1 dl red wine (optional)
Seasonings
- 2 tsk oregano
- 1 tsk thyme
- 0.5 tsk chili flakes (optional)

Brown the chicken (recommended)
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Briefly brown it in a hot pan for more flavor.

Assemble the dish
- Place the vegetables in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Place the chicken on top.
- Mix tomatoes, tomato paste, stock, and wine, then pour over.
- Add the seasonings.
