    • 1200 g Bone-in chicken thighs
    • 1 tsk Salt
    • 1 tsk Black pepper
  • Bacon and vegetables

    • 150 g Bacon, diced
    • 2 stk Onions, quartered
    • 250 g Mushrooms
    • 3 fed Garlic
  • Braising liquid

    • 4 dl Red wine
    • 3 dl Chicken stock or broth
    • 1 spsk Tomato paste
  • Herbs

    • 2 stk Fresh thyme
    • 2 stk Bay leaves

    1. Brown the bacon lightly in a pan.
    2. Brown the chicken pieces briefly on both sides.

    Assemble the dish

    1. Lay onions and mushrooms in the bottom of the slow cooker.
    2. Place chicken and bacon on top.
    3. Mix wine, stock and tomato paste and pour over.
    4. Add thyme and bay leaves.

    1. Cook 8 hours on LOW.
    2. Alternatively 4–5 hours on HIGH.
