Prepare the slow cooker
- Butter the slow cooker lightly on the inside to reduce milk skin.

- Add rice, milk, water and salt to the slow cooker.
- Stir.

- Set the slow cooker to LOW and cook for 4–5 hours.
- Stir 1–2 times along the way.

- You can also cook the porridge for 2½–3 hours on HIGH.

Adjust the consistency
