- 10.6 oz small breakfast sausages
- 1 tbsp butter or oil for frying
- 2 tbsp water (for the bacon trick)
- ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
Instructions

Fry the bacon with the water trick
- Lay the bacon in a cold pan in a single layer
- Pour a couple of tablespoons of water into the pan
- Turn on medium heat and let the water cook off while the bacon starts to render fat
- When the water is gone, fry the bacon in its own fat until golden and crisp
- Drain the bacon on kitchen paper and keep a little fat in the pan if you like

- Fry the sausages in the same pan in a little of the bacon fat
- If the pan is dry, add a little butter or oil
- Turn the sausages regularly until heated through with a brown, crisp surface
