    • 4 stk large onions
    • 10.6 oz minced beef
    • 8 skiver bacon
    • 1 tsp salt and pepper

    • 3.5 oz mixed salad leaves
    • 0.5 stk cucumber
    • 2 stk tomato
  • Tzatziki

    • about 0.8 cup Greek yoghurt
    • 0.5 stk cucumber (grated)
    • 1 fed garlic
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice

    Prepare the onions

    1. Cut the tops off the onions and hollow them out, leaving room for filling.

    Make the filling

    1. Mix mince with salt, pepper and optionally some of the hollowed-out onion, chopped.

    Stuff and wrap

    1. Fill the onions with the meat mixture and wrap each in 2 slices of bacon.

    Bake in the oven

    1. Bake at 180°C for 35–40 minutes until bacon is crisp and onions are tender.

    Make tzatziki

    1. Coarsely grate the cucumber and squeeze out the liquid. Mix with yoghurt, pressed garlic and lemon juice.
