    • 4 stk Bell peppers
  • Filling

    • 400 g Ground beef
    • 1 stk Onion, finely chopped
    • 2 fed Garlic, finely chopped
    • 2 spsk Tomato paste
    • 1 tsk Paprika
    • 1 tsk Salt
    • 0.5 tsk Pepper
    • 50 g Grated cheese
  • Sauce

    • 1 dåse Chopped tomatoes
    • 1 dl Water or broth
    • 0.5 tsk Salt

    Prepare the peppers

    1. Cut the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
    2. Set them aside.

    Make the filling

    1. Sauté the onion and garlic briefly in a pan.
    2. Add the ground beef and brown it lightly.
    3. Stir in tomato paste, paprika, salt and pepper.
    4. Remove the pan from the heat and fold in the grated cheese.

    Fill the peppers

    1. Divide the filling among the peppers and press it down lightly.

    Cook in the slow cooker

    1. Pour chopped tomatoes and water or broth into the bottom of the slow cooker and season with salt.
    2. Place the stuffed peppers in the slow cooker.
    3. Cook on LOW for about 4 hours, until the peppers are tender and the filling is cooked through.
