  • 300 g Dried fava beans, soaked overnight
  • 30 g Fresh parsley
  • 30 g Fresh cilantro
  • 15 g Fresh dill
  • 1 stk Onion, roughly chopped
  • 4 fed Garlic
  • 1 tsk Cumin
  • 2 spsk Sesame seeds
  • 500 ml Oil for deep-frying

    Blend the dough

    1. Blend soaked beans with herbs, onion, garlic, and spices into a coarse dough.

    Shape patties

    1. Shape into flat patties (about 4 cm). Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    Deep-fry

    1. Heat oil to 180°C. Fry patties 3-4 min until golden. Drain on paper towels.
