    • 300 g Ground pork or beef
    • 1 stk Egg
    • 2 spsk Breadcrumbs
    • 1 tsk Salt
    • 0.5 tsk Pepper
    • 2 spsk Water or milk
  • Flour dumplings

    • 75 g Wheat flour
    • 50 g Butter
    • 1 stk Egg
    • 1 knsp Salt
  • Tomato soup

    • 800 g Canned chopped tomatoes
    • 2 spsk Tomato paste
    • 1 stk Onion
    • 2 fed Garlic
    • 700 ml Vegetable broth
    • 1 spsk Butter or oil
    • 1 tsk Sugar
    • 1 tsk Salt
    • 0.5 tsk Black pepper
    • 1 tsk Dried oregano or basil
    • 100 ml Cream

    Make the meatballs

    1. Mix the meat with egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and a little liquid into a firm mixture.
    2. Roll small balls with wet hands.
    3. Cook the balls in lightly salted water at a gentle boil until they float up.
    4. Lift them out and set aside.

    Make the flour dumplings

    1. Melt the butter over low heat.
    2. Stir in the flour until it comes together.
    3. Take the pot off the heat and stir in egg and salt until the dough is smooth.
    4. Shape small flour dumplings with a teaspoon or wet hands.

    Sauté onion and garlic

    1. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
    2. Sauté them in butter or oil until soft.

    Cook the tomato soup

    1. Stir in the tomato paste and let it cook briefly.
    2. Add tomatoes, broth, sugar, salt, pepper and dried herbs.
    3. Let the soup simmer gently so the flavor turns round.

    Blend and make it creamy

    1. Blend the soup completely smooth.
    2. Stir in cream if you want a milder soup.
