Mushroom pasta
- 7.1 oz Pasta (e.g. tagliatelle)
- 8.8 oz Button mushrooms, sliced
- 1 stk Shallot, finely chopped
- 1 fed Garlic, finely chopped
- about 0.8 cup Cream
- 1.4 oz Grated Parmesan
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- ¾ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Freshly ground pepper
Instructions

Al dente
- Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente.
- Save a little cooking water and drain the rest.

Sauté and bring together
- Sauté the shallot and garlic in olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until they collapse and take on a little colour.
- Add the cream and let the sauce simmer briefly.
- Stir in the Parmesan and loosen with a little pasta water if the sauce is too thick.

- Toss the pasta in the sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve at once with extra Parmesan if you like.
