- 1.4 fl oz Gin
- 1⅓ tbsp Lime juice
- 1⅓ tbsp Ginger syrup
- about 0.4 cup Sparkling tonic
Mocktail (alcohol-free)
- 1⅓ tbsp Lime juice
- 1⅓ tbsp Ginger syrup
- about 0.4 cup Alcohol-free tonic
Serving & garnish
- 4 stk Ice cubes
- 1 skiver Lime slice or lime zest

Prepare glasses and ingredients
- Place 2 glasses in the freezer for 5 minutes if you have time (optional, but gives a crisper drink).
- Fill the glasses with ice cubes.
- Measure out gin (for the cocktail), lime juice and ginger syrup so you can assemble the drink quickly.

Mix the cocktail (with alcohol)
- Pour gin, lime juice and ginger syrup into the first glass with ice.
- Top with sparkling tonic.
- Stir once with a spoon and garnish with a lime slice or a bit of lime zest.
