Vegetables
- 3 stk Carrots
- 2 stk Onions
- 2 stk Potatoes
- 1 stk Parsnip or parsley root
- 2 fed Garlic
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Dried thyme
- 1 blade Bay leaf
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
Liquid and fat
- 1⅔ cup Chicken broth
- 1 tbsp Butter or oil

Fill the slow cooker
- Place the chicken at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Spread the vegetables on top in rough chunks.
- Add tomato paste, seasonings, broth and fat.

Let the dish cook on its own
- Cook on LOW for about 8 hours.
- The vegetables become completely tender and the chicken falls apart.
- HIGH is not recommended if you want the vegetables to turn completely soft.

Shred and assemble the dish
- Remove the chicken and shred it lightly with two forks.
- Return the meat to the pot.
- Remove the bay leaf and season to taste with salt and pepper.
